Concealer Veil

If you only use a little bit of the Matte Foundation, is the Bare Minerals Mineral Veil necessary?

Like, I don't cake on my make up because i really don't have much to hide, just some dark circles under my eyes and a teeny tiny bit of pink from acne scars that are mostly faded. I really only use a like powder foundation all over my face to cover shinyness.

If I use the oil control primer and the Mineral Veil, will the Mineral Veil be necessary in preventing oil, shininess, and a caked-on look?

Also, will it look caked on under my eyes? The circles are really dark and i'll be using a concealer instead of the foundation.

Thank you!

Nope, the Mineral Veil is not necessary. It just adds a little sparkle. The foundation is good enough that it soaks up oil and creates a matte finish by itself. I use some primer and the matte foundation only too. And I don't think the concealer will look caked on under your eyes, but you could try putting the foundation over it to set it.
