What type of makeup is better and roughly how much would it cost?
Well, I have had acne/blemishes all through my life, and I have used the products clearisal etc.
But I feel like a change:
These are my options
Mineral Makeup - Sheer Cover, Bare Escentual Bare Minerls
, Sheer Cover Mineral makeup
or Should I go for
Revlon Beyond Natural Skin Matching Makeup
If anyone has any advice on these products and could tell me how much they would be I would be very thankful (:
I would say to try brands other than BE first. BE has a bad reputation of being a nasty irritant in probably 80 percent of people who have tried it, let alone the fact that it isn't suitable for a wide range of undertones (so it may look really orange if your undertones don't match completely). and also it's way overpriced.
There are so many online brands to try and you can get reasonable samples. Some brands are Aubrey Nicole, Meow Cosmetics, Everyday Minerals, Ocean Mist Cosmetics, Joppa, and many more. I've tried all but the last, and found that Aubrey Nicole and Everyday Minerals worked best for me, although I prefer EM. I would say, purchase a sample from Everyday Minerals (there are 4 different kinds though, for different looks and coverages and skin types. The FAQ helps clear some things up) and then when it arrives, try it out, and see if you like how a powder mineral foundation looks/feels. And I suggest buying one of their flat top brushes, since it can be used with liquids too if you end up using liquid foundations.
And then if you dislike it, try the Revlon. Neither is better than the other, it's just personal preference.
