how can i clean my make-up brushes without buying brush cleaner?

they are kind of expensive brushes so i definately dont' want to ruin them!!

Dish soap is commonly used and will not harm your brushes. Just be careful not to ruff them up while cleaning them and be sure to gently push them back into shape before they dry.
