Mac blot powder vs. Clinique stay-matte sheer pressed powder?
I have oily skin, and tend to use powder as my base before makeup. I'm yet to find a good high street powder, so figured it may be best spending more money. I'm torn between these two, both seem excellent.
Has anyone used them before?

Mac's blot powder is NOT a regular powder, if that is what you are looking for. The girl above that says it came off within an hour...it's because this is a BLOTTING POWDER, it has no coverage. duh. Like with blotting papers, it simply absorbs the oil and disappears without leaving a trace, and that's the point!!!! People who use this powder don't want to look powdery, they use it on top of foundation to keep oilies away, and throughout the day to get rid of shine without continually putting regular powder on their face that will just build up and look cakey. This is meant to NOT build up.
If you are looking for a pressed powder that is meant as a finishing powder, or as a foundation, look elsewhere!
Try Mac's Studio Fix Powder Plus or Mineral SkinFinish. Those are both foundation-type powders. You can use Mac's Select Sheer Pressed Powder as a finishing powder to stay matte. I think the latter would be more comparable to Clinique's Stay Matte Sheer Pressed Powder.
