what are the soft wares that a civil CAD technician must be good at?
i'm a II year civil engg student.. I'm intersted in doing a diploma course in cad.. one cad school i consulted offers a master diploma in civil cad. The course covers archiCAD, 3ds MAX, STAAD pro, primavera and rivet. Are there any other soft wares that are essential? I've already finished autoCAD 2007.
GIS, Land Development Desktop, AutoCad, and Civil 3D. I would suggest that you don't waste your money on the diploma. I would worry about getting a job after graduation as an entry level CE. If the job you take requires drafting, the company will train you in the specific software that they use.
