In my mock something downloaded in the background, how can I stop this?
I modem D-link, in which, when you download something from ADSL, LAN Flashing. The problem is now when I'm not downloading anything when I am in an ideal situation, the lights are high speed. It means that something is downloaded in the background. How can I stop this. If this happens constantly blows my Internet bill.
1. Get a good firewall (not windows firewall) 2. If you still have doubts, use a dialer to connect broadband. or 3. Right-click the icon for your LAN connection and click Disconnect. when you want to go online you can log in again. 4. Go to task manager and see if something is running that should not be executed. like a virus or something weird.
