how do you apply powder foundation?
i'm using lancome, dual finish.
i just checked the product i'm using at sephora.com and it said if you apply foundation with a damp sponge, you'll get full coverage. and you'll get light coverage with a dry sponge.
i don't get it, is that right? i've been applying foundation with a dry sponge. and i don't use liquid foundation, so...any tips or advice or proper use of product?

the only makeup i use on my face is a little bit of blush and foundation. and the rest, i use acne cream.
I notice when i put it on a dry face it looks flaky and unnatural so i apply any (face) day moisturiser on my face first then i wait a couple of minutes for it to be absorbed then i apply the powder and it gives that clean finish, remember to apply a little powder under your chin and under the jaw bone to blend it in, so that you dont have two different colors
make sure you put sunscreen on, you can get a face moisturiser with 30+ sunscreen in it...
with the wet sponge technique (foundation) try it and see if you like it wet or dry, its up to you...
you dont have to use foundation if you dont want to, you can stick with the powder, make sure you wash any make up off before sleep so your skin can breathe...
