Some MAC makeup questions?
Ok well I have a giftcard to Macy's and I am getting some MAC makeup. Just for info, I have green eyes, lightish tan skin, and brown hair.
First, which eyeliner should I get? I can't use liquid. I want it to be long-wearing and not flake off. I was thinking about the Powerpoint pencil. Also, which color should I get for my eyes? http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CAT151&PRODUCT_ID=476
Then I think I'm gonna get the Lollipop Loving lipstick from the Sugarsweet Collection. Does the color show up good since it's a glaze? http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CAT1322&PRODUCT_ID=310
I really want the Moon River Mineralize Blush Duo too. What do you think? http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CAT869&PRODUCT_ID=4457
You say you can't use liquid, but have you ever tried using a gel liner? It seems like it would be difficult to use, but once you get the hang of it it's incredibly easy, and it lasts ALL day. Try the fluidline in Macroviolet. It looks very pigmented in the pot, but once you apply it to your eye the colour deepens and you're left with a subtle, pretty purple tint that will make your green eyes pop.
Lollipop loving is a beautiful nude colour. It has a subtle gold tinted shimmer. The only downside is that since it's a glaze, it has a bit of a drying effect. If you're looking for a moisturizing lipstick, don't buy this. To make sure your lips look fresh and moisturized when wearing this colour, just apply a good lip balm first.
Moon River is definitely my favourite Mineralize Blush Duo, although I do not own it... yet. It isn't extremely pigmented, but the colour is still gorgeous. The best part of this blush is that there is a highlight colour also, so it's a 2 in 1.
