Is there a difference between multi-tasking and running around like a headless chook?
I only ask because, while building our house, one party here has the ability to discuss 500 different things that we are not immediately working on in ten seconds, giving the other a profound headache.
(This question is being posed by Igor, my depraved, twisted, twin brother who we normally keep in the cellar (not the glass one) - the views are not those of the account holder).
This is a fun question.
I believe so.
Mutlitasking is getting things done efficiently.
Running around like a headless chook is a lot of movement with no result.
Two images come to mind:
1. Someone sitting on the computer, typing up an essay, while sipping coffee in between vocal conversations on Skype.
2. A hunter who has just decapitated a chicken, the body of which takes off for 15 - 30 seconds shortly to drop on the floor.
