How smooth should a shave leave my face?
I've been frustrated lately over how I'm shaving. My skin feels smooth to the touch, but it doesn't look as if I were shaving close enough, as some of my side burns are still visible. I see the same thing on my neck, and I've been getting red bumps on it lately. Having a Gillette Fusion, I'd think the job would get done properly. My blade does not need changing. Do I need new shaving cream? Any help is appreciated.
The best way to get the closest shave is not the razor or cream/gel but the time you put into it.I recently read an article on how a famous barber takes a good 20 minutes to for a good clean shave.Most important is to use a hot towel, or after coming out of the shower. Then you shave in both directions with and against the grain, stretch your skin and take your time.Biotherm,Alba, Kiss my face,are all good creams and gel products but it's said glycerin based products are the best.
