There is no integrity anymore. The news outlets exist only to sell themselves. They are not after truth or fact anymore. Truth and fact don't sell, sensationalism sells.
Inexperienced candidates with radical views and lots of charisma are sensational. Candidates with carefully polished public images and history making potential are sensational. Candidates that draw big crowds with their eloquent speeches and vague cliche promises of change are sensational.
Candidates with years of experience and proven records are not sensational. Candidates with specific views, ideas and values are not sensational. Candidates who talk straight and promise only what they can deliver are not sensational.
Politics is no longer about being the best candidate for the job. It's about creating the best image and effectively selling it.
